I am a new rider and I have tried to follow the dialogue on exhuast pipes but I decided just to put my ignorance out there and ask for help. Here are my questions...
1. What is a "slip-on"?
2. What is the least expensive way to improve the sound, performance, and lower the the muffler's profile (my daughter burned her leg on the stock muffler)?
3. Are there issues with decibla ratings (I live in CA) if I change the muffler?
4. Is a jardine, or supertrap the way to go, or pick up a used muffler at some shop?
SOrry for so many questions but if any of you can help I would greatly appreciate the advice! This is, by the way, a great forum.
